I am a Ph.D. student in course 6-2, aiming for graduation in 2018.

s a current PhD candidate and NSF Fellow in Computer Science at MIT, Curtis works to make advanced education more accessible in the EdX platform by researching and designing machine learning and educational data mining methodologies. In the last five years, Curtis has worked at NASA, GE, a National Science Foundation REU, Microsoft, MIT Lincoln Laboratory and five research universities, and earned numerous awards including the NSF Fellowship and Goldwater Scholarship. He has devoted himself to improving his community as a Mathematics guest lecturer, student mentor, respected researcher, and President of Tau Beta Pi in Nashville, TN.
