I obtained my Telecommunications Engineering title from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain) and my MSc. in Interactive Systems Engineering degree from Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (Stockholm, Sweden), both in 2006. In 2011 Iobtained my PhD. in Computer Science from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland), under the supervision of Professor Fua. My dissertation dealt with the design of algorithms to automatically detect and delineate neuronal structures in noisy image stacks. I am a member of the first class of M+Visión Fellows, with interests ranging from computer-aided diagnosis to cancer detection techniques.
