Jonas Mueller is a first-year PhD student in EECS. His research focuses on the development of new machine learning algorithms as well as applications of such methods for scientific discovery in genomics. Before coming to MIT, Jonas majored in Applied Math and in Statistics as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley.
