Uwe Bauer is working towards a PhD degree in Materials Science & Engineering. Before coming to MIT, Uwe was a visiting scientist at UC Berkeley and at the Max Planck Society, where he investigated nanoscale magnetic materials. His current research focusses on electrical control of spin dynamics and its applications in novel non-volatile memory devices.
